WTF!?!

It has almost been a full month of WidgetBucks and there have been quite a few changes made. They stopped

allowing non english pages to run widgetbucks (even though they claim it was always like that) They removed part of the code that allowed the permalink in order to speed up the widgets themselves, they added several categories and a couple of new sizes, and they named me company VP.Well, all of those happened except for the last one. I am not the company vice president. I have been enjoying widgetbucks though. I continue to get a good CTR and a nice high RPC. A few days ago I had a couple of clicks that were over a dollar each!!!! What I am most proud of however, is my referral count. I dont consider my blog to be a very important one, I get a decent amount of traffic, but chances are, if you reading my blog you also read Zac Johnson’s or John Chow’s, or someone else who is giving tips on making money. So chances are you would already have known about widgetbucks before coming here and you would have signed up through someone else rather than me. So when I looked at my account today and saw 24 referrals, I was pretty impressed. I was ecstatic just to see 2 the first time I check, and now it is 12 X that. How did I do it? Forums. I am a regular on a few forums so my signature shows up a good bit. If I put that my eCPM of my widgetbucks is over $10 ( which it is) people are generally going to be curious and want to know what it is all about.

Unfortunately, getting them to sign up is the easy part. The hard part is actually having them use widgetbucks, otherwise I make 10% of $0 which comes out to roughly, and this is without a calculator…$0. So, hopefully when I check my stats on November 1 and the referral bonuses are added, there will be a nice jump in earnings.
