October Income Report
Nov 11th, 2007 by Nick
As promised I said I would make a post on how much I made during the month of October, so here is the breakdown. It is a combination of, PPC, CPA, and paid posts. Some of the revenue is not listed because I was banned from Azoogle, hopefully after talking to my AM I will be unbanned and get my money back. But, here is the rest.
Paid Reviews: $244.89
NeverBlueAds: $218.25
TTZ Media: $6.45
WidgetBucks: $78.00
StartLogic: $100.00
Total: $ 647.59
It would have been slightly higher had I been able to add Azoogle to that list. Hopefully I can get that problem sorted out by the end of the week and then ad them back later. I think the biggest problem I had was the Widgetbucks referral stats. I have 41 referrals right now, I probably had mid 30s last month. But what I dont understand is how I only made $1.20 from my referrals. That means that about 30 different people only made a combined 12.00 from october… which means each one only made about 40 cents. I find that very very very hard to believe. I think there must be a glitch in their recording. If my November revenue is the same then I will probably send them an email and ask them what is wrong with it.
Nice. That’s pretty good. Is this only what you’ve made from this blog?
Yeah, referrals… they can be tricky. The reality is that majority of the people you recruit (no matter what kind of a “program” it is) will not do anything (or very, very little). I’ve seen it myself and I’ve seen others report the same. It’s the classic 80/20 rule - a small number of your referrals will be “bringing home the bacon”
alot of it was from this blog, like paid postings and the widgetbucks. i have been trying to run neverblueads through PPC but I dont have much money to use for advertising right now.
I forgot about the 80/20 rule but that explains it completely. In fact, now that they are running live referral stats I can really see that there are about 20 out of my 40 referrals that haven’t even earned anything this month.
