WTF!?!

I thought I was able to come out of this pagerank update with the same 4 that I have enjoyed for the past few months. Many people had already discussed their pagerank being updated and I kept checking my toolbar and it said 4/10 so I figured it had already gone through my site and kept the same 4. Unfortunately it had not yet been updated. Yesterday I noticed it was just a 3/10. Not very impressive at all. But, I guess it doesnt really matter does it? I only use my PR for payperpost and soon they will develop a new system to rank blogs without using pr, or at least not rely heavily on it. I guess I should be lucky that it only dropped to a 3. I havnt really been updating too much prior to October, so getting a 3 instead of a 2 was really nice. I guess because the site has been around for a while and still has a decent number of pages indexed and links it was able to be a 3. How bad were you hit by the Google stick?
