Ford Blue Oval Scholars

To all of my artistic readers, this post is for you. Ford Motors is having a logo design contest and you are invited to participate. It is really quite simple. All they need you to do is to redesign their current Blue Oval Scholars graphic.
That is the picture of it to the left. You just have to follow a few rules which can be found at the contest website. This contest is open to amateur as well as professional designers AND you only have to be 16 to enter. Many contests require that you be 18 but not this one. Another great thing about this contest is that you are allowed up to 3 entries. So you can offer them several different styles you may be capable of. In addition to that they are giving away prizes to the top 10 entries. Here is the list of wonderful prizes they are offering:
* 1. First Place - Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium = Retail $1,700
* 2. Second Place - $300 for design software of choice
* 3. Third Place - $150 for design software of choice

Ford Blue Oval Scholars is a scholarship program that is put on by the Ford Motor Company Fund. So see how your design and artistic skills stack up and enter the contest. It is full of great prizes and it is a great way to get exposure. It would look wonderful on a resume if you would like to get into a design career later down the road.
