Back-Up Your Cell Phone Numbers
Oct 1st, 2007 by Nick
I am sick and tired of people saying “lost my phone need your number”. That has got to be one of the most annoying statements
and one of the most common I hear. I use facebook to keep in touch with my friends who go to different colleges and usually in the news feed, at least once a week there will be a new group created by someone who has lost their phone/ their phone got wet/ got a new phone/ got stolen/ died/ blah blah/ eaten by their dog….and they need your digits. Well, here is a simple thing you can do to make sure that group is never created again. Back your cell phone numbers the F up. Open excel and start typing in name and number. Yes it is going to take you a while, but it is also going to take a while to ask everyone for their fing number and you will most likely forget some people and never get their number again. So please, back your ish up. Thanks. God bless.
I totally agree. Plus, lazy people have a few other options like Verizon MyAccount backup, BitPim, and a few specialty services that do everything for you.
I have been writing down phone numbers since middle school. Thats just how I have always backed them up. So, for me its just adding a number here or there when I get a new one. Luckily I have never lost a phone, I have had one break and I didnt have all of the numbers on the SIM card so I had to add the others I had written down.
