WTF!?!

Late in the 4th quarter with only around 3 minutes left in the game, VT up 10 - 0 on BC at Virginia. At this point, I am sure many of the fans have already left the game getting ready to start the party after they knocked off #2 BC. But you know who hadnt left the game? BC. They scored to make it 7 - 10. They then kick an onside kick. VT had to have known that was coming and yet they still cannot contain the ball. You may be able to attribute it to nerves, a good kick, or maybe wet conditions. Whatever the case, BC recovered the ball. They start moving down the field. After a few penalties push them back they are looking at 3rd and long with under 30 seconds, should they concentrate on a short pass to get field goal range? Nope cant do that, the QB is blitzed outta the pocket he rolls out throws up the ball on the run…..right into the end zone for a TD. Boston College was down 10 points with about 3 minutes left in the game and managed to score twice in the 4th quarter while the fans who were ready to rush the field just sat and watched in anger and amazement. Now, the outcome should not have been too much of a surprise, #2 should beat #8, the surprise is how well they played when there was almost no time left and they were facing the defeat. Even though I like to root for the underdog, when it was getting to the end I was jumping up and down for BC.

The last TD may make the highlight real, but what will definitely make it is when the QB and the head coach jumped up to do a chest bump and the QB knocked the coach on his ass. Then for some reason about a minute later they were showing the QB on the sideline throwing up. I dont know if it was because of an excessive celebration or what but he did not look well.  Dont worry, once I find some pics or a youtube clip I will place it up.
